JAD-Kernel (Kern der Realtime-Audio-Bearbeitung unter Linux)

So… im prinzip läuft auf meinem System jetzt der Kernel „kernel-default-2.6.16-jad2″… Aber irgendwie funktioniert das Echtzeit-Gedöhns noch nicht… Habe PAM in der /etc/security/limits.conf eingerichtet… Bekomme aber in Jack ’nen haufen XRUNS…

Ich glaube ich werde mal den neuen 2.6.17-jad2 Kernel testen… Den kann ich zwar nicht mit smart installieren, aber habe die RPMS von appleonkel runtergeladen und die liegen jetze bei mir herum… kann ich eigentlich mit dem Befehl „rpm -Uvh *.rpm“ oder so alle im Verzeichnis liegenden rpm’s installieren (also rt-lsm-Ptach, 2.6.17er Kernel und Kernel-Sources in einem Befehl???)

Hm… wenn ich endlich mal genug Zeit habe werde ich das mal testen…

  1. Hm… Es funktioniert mehrere RPMs mit dem Befehl „rpm -Uvh *.rpm“ zu isntallieren, habe jetzt also den „kernel-default-2.6.17-jad2“ und die sources und den echtzeitpatch (rt-lsm) installiert… Läuft aber noch nicht…

  2. Du musst noch das realtime modul laden, der Kernel ist schon mit rt-lsm gepatcht. „modprobe realtime gid=18. Oder deine GroupID, 18 ist die GroupID von audio, dein User sollte dort eingetragen werden.
